Cells at Work! Glitch
Cells at Work! Glitch Where is it based? Cells at Work! Glitch takes place in an alternative world of Cells at Work!. The difference between Cells at Work! Glitch and the original Cells at Work! is due to the cells being able to glitch, providing that they have a nucleus at the time of glitching. In this AU, there’s the introduction of cells known as Anchor cells and Glitch cells. What are the two new cells? Glitch Cells: Glitch cells are cells who were born from a glitch in a cell’s nucleus. What triggers a glitch can be a multiple of reasons, but it must be triggered. A glitch cannot occur while a cell is being idle for example. A common cause for a cell to glitch can be during combat but it isn’t always the case. Glitch cells are often considered to be inferior when compared to other cells of the same type. Glitch cells often have weaknesses which other cells don’t have a problem with. An example being a glitch neutrophil may not be able to transmigrate through walls effectively,

Derek sighed as he dropped his pen and watched it roll on the paperwork. Angie was working across from him and didn’t look like she was going to stop working but Derek felt that he had hit his limit. The words were starting to jump around and even as he wrote them, they sprung to life and jumped somewhere else on the documents. He needed a break and he needed one fast. He leaned back in the chair and stared up at the ceiling, just somewhere else from the documents. He spotted a spider crawling along the ceiling…or was that his imagination giving him something else to focus on? It was a welcomed distraction regardless. He could still feel the gears in his mind turning, his brain trying to pull up a daydream while also trying to process the information from the documents too. “Derek?” Angie’s voice cut through whatever his brain was doing and pulled him back to reality. He moved his head and looked towards Angie and smiled. She looked at him confused as to what he was doing before

"Nurse Thompson, please repeat what you saw when Doctor Stiles performed the operation on Professor Blackwell. We sadly don’t have any camera footage to review and we all know that Derek’s in no fit condition to talk,” Robert Hoffman asked as he looked at the tall nurse standing on the opposite side of the desk. Sidney waited patiently on his chair as he watched Angie, his eyes locked onto her as his mind tried to piece together when he and Victor saw during the operation. He saw that the Healing Touch had activated but the Savato was still quicker, still darting around and creating multiple lacerations around itself before moving to another location on the heart and repeating it. He blinked and the next thing he knew all the lacerations had been treated and Savato struggling until it eventually broke apart. “Can…I just ask a question?” Angie looked determined at Robert. The older gentleman smiled and leaned back in his chair and nodded. “Is it possible to activate the Healing

An Uncomfortable Atmosphere (TC)
The Uncomfortable Atmosphere Markus glanced up from the documents of Stigma at the other member of Caduceus in the room. Across the table from him sat Derek Stiles, a former member of Delphi and one of the people behind the G.U.I.L.T outbreak in the past. Just being in the same room as Derek made Markus feel uncomfortable for some reason. He knew how hard it was to rid yourself of the past as it had a bad habit of returning but Derek here...studying Stigma? It really didn't sit right with him. Derek continued to ponder over the medical records of Stigma patients and over what he gathered from Stigma over his time operating. He continued to pull similarities between Stigma and G.U.I.L.T and differences between the two man-made diseases. He couldn't pass up the opportunity to work with this research, even if it meant that he was to be supervised by someone he wasn't too familiar with. Could he freely pick Markus' brain when it came to Stigma? Or would he be forbidden to pick the brain

Talking With Your Frenemy (Cells At Work)
Talking With Your Frenemy Cancer cell continued to pace around the tumour, he had tried so hard to befriend the neutrophil but nothing he did worked. He had tried to give the neutrophil some tea but the neutrophil remained suspicious of him. He had tried being in his disguised form and pretending to be a normal cell yet the neutrophil seemed to see though the disguise and avoided him as much as possible. Nothing Cancer cell seemed to do worked on befriending the neutrophil and trying to create a positive bond was what he was after. If he solely wanted to possess his friend, he’d create the container and force the immune cell inside and closed it. He would have total dominance over what happened then, he would be in full control of the situation but…while that would be better it wouldn’t be building the friendship he craved. It would create tension between the pair of them and the rift between the pair of them would only grow larger. If he wanted U-1146 as a friend he would have to

How long had it been since he was last carting huge amounts of nutrients to that old (now destroyed) apartment complex? He shook his head, not wanting to remember the events of that day. The day a cancer cell had arrived and scared them all with their ferocious, starved looks. As he walked, he checked the map once a while to see if there was any sudden change in the route. Shiro slowly opened his eyes and was met with an unfamiliar scene. The walls were a pale pink with some small veins and arteries visible within the walls, some pulsated. He was on the ground, that he assumed as he felt the warm ground beneath him…so he had been laying in this spot for quite some time. The floor matched the design of the wall he was currently staring at. Deciding that he was tired of laying down on the ground he tried to move his limbs, but they didn't respond to him. Panic immediately started to flood into his mind as he tried to command his limbs to start moving. His eyes widened as he felt paraly

The 3 AM Call
"Derek…? Do you know what time it is…?" Angie asked as she finally answered the call, she had seen that Derek had been calling her but the time was currently three am in the morning. Why was he up already? She waited for Derek to give her a response.
"I'm sorry to call you this late…but I don't know…if I can come into work today…" Derek's voice was shaky; his breathing was slightly irregular which made Angie grow worried. Did he just wake up from a nightmare and wanted someone to talk to?
"Derek? Are you okay?" She asked as she sat up in bed. Just hearing Derek this vulnerable wasn't something sh

URGENT: Invasion of the Old Account Hijackers
Since mid-autumn 2018, I've been seeing a number of legitimate-looking DeviantArt accounts who've been around for years and whose owners have, depending on the account, established decent bodies of work and have interacted in non-suspicious ways with other Deviants…but those were all years ago, and they're now suddenly and randomly adding my work as well as that of others to their favorites. I can tell the accounts are all being hijacked because every About section or most recent status update of each hijacked page contains in its text a spam link to a pornography Website.
